This page provides a reference for symbols and icons used throughout HeartLab.

It includes both internationally recognised regulatory symbols and interface icons used throughout the application.

Standards-Based Symbols

The following symbols are used in accordance with recognised standards such as ISO 15223-1.

Filter studies by status or criteria
Indicates a study has been flagged as urgent

Study Status Icons

SymbolMeaning
Indicates reporting has started
Indicates a preliminary report has been approved
Indicates a report has been completed
Indicates a report amendment is underway
Indicates clip processing errors occurred

Study Viewer Symbols

SymbolMeaning
Indicates manual measurements exist on the image
Opens a dropdown, menu, or expandable section
Opens the study sharing window
Displays other studies for the same patient
Flags the study as urgent
View or attach files
Show or hide the report pane

Measurement Toolbar Symbols

SymbolMeaning
Navigate through measurements
Show or hide the measurement toolbar
Perform measurement calculations
Toggle measurement overlays
Enable or disable synchronized playback
Adjust playback speed between 0.1× and 2×
Select clip color mapping
